What a great feeling it is when you place the last piece of a complicated jigsaw… it’s complete, a real picture… something that’s come together. When pieces are missing it’s never quite right, no matter how beautiful the photo you’re following on the box.
Under One Roof has a vision, a beautiful picture on the box of the jigsaw, but we’re missing a few pieces.
Our picture is of Shelton’s community – a rich, vibrant place, a heritage of culture, industry and togetherness, a background of giving, caring, acceptance and learning and an exciting future of sharing, understanding and promoting what we’re best at.
While Under One Roof is based at St Mark’s Church, we want to involve everyone in this project to connect people, share stories and ambitions, celebrate what Shelton is all about and strengthen those links which bond our community together.
